Swimchix meets Pevensey Place swimmers

Pevensey At the Pevensey Place inter-house gala, the Swimchix met the amazing residents that took part in this years aQuellé Midmar Mile. They were proudly wearing their Mile t-shirts and their individually engraved medals. P1100429 The 44th aQuellé Midmar Mile, held on 11 and 12 February 2017, has been hailed by many as the best yet. This was due in no small part to the fierce duel carried out in the men’s 14-30 category between defending champion Chad Ho, Olympic champion Ferry Weertman, the USA’s renowned Chip Peterson and the ultimate victor, South Africa’s own Matthew Meyer. Ferry Weertman - Ho's man to beat at the 2017 aQuellé Midmar Mile. The aQuellé Midmar Mile will be celebrating the 44th year in fine style as Olympic Champion in Rio, Ferry Weertman, flies out from the Netherlands to tackle seven-time men’s winner Chad Ho in the World’s Largest Open Water Swimming event at Midmar Dam over the weekend of 11-12 February.
