Terms of Pledge
By submitting this pledge you are directing that the money pledged be held in the account of 'The 8 Mile Club' for the purpose of distributing the sum pledged to the nominated beneficiaries on or before the 31st of May 2010. If you are pledging on behalf of a Company or Closed Corporation, you are warranting that you are duly authorised to do so.

NB: Should the participant have to withdraw for any reason whatsoever, the pledges accrued to that person will be transferred to the replacement swummer


How Payment by Credit Card Works
Should you choose to pay your pledge immediately and the above form has been completed and checked, you will be automatically directed to the Virtual Card Services (VCS) website to complete the payment for your pledge. The secure VCS payment page is secured using SSL encryption. Once payment is completed you will be returned to this site where your payment will be processed and you see a page confirming the details of your pledge.
 
Terms and Conditions
  1. Payments are accepted via MasterCard or Visa credit cards
  2. The amounts quoted are in South African Rands
  3. Once your payment has been processed your payment cannot be refunded
  4. Your bank statement will reflect a charge from 'MIDMAR MILE'
  5. No payment information (Credit Card numbers, CVC numbers) are transmitted to, stored or shared by this website
 
Pledge Process
Step 1 Select a swimmer to sponsor
Step 2 Complete the Pledgor Details
Step 3 Enter the amount you would like to pledge to each of the beneficiaries of your choice.
Step 4 Select your payment method
Step 5 Click the Submit Pledge' Button

Payment of Pledge
Payment of the pledged amount needs to be made on or before 28 February 2010. There are 2 methods of payment available, Credit Card or Direct Deposit/EFT.

Credit Card
Credit card payments are processed via the Virtual Card Services (VCS) gateway. Should you choose to pay your pledge immediately you will be directed to the VCS system to complete payment.

Direct Deposit
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your pledge. Included in the email will be the account details of The 8 Mile Club/ Midmar Mile Charity and a unique reference number. This reference is to be used as the reference when making payment.
